2024 Axis Deer Hunt Applications Available

The State of Hawaii, Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW) has announced that applications for the 2024 Lanai axis deer hunting season are now available at gohunthawaii.ehawaii.gov. The application deadline is October 27, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. HST. The bag limit has not been determined at this time.

A $10.00 application fee will be assessed for each person applying for the hunt. All application fee sales are final and must accompany each application at the time of filing.

There will be an annual public meeting on Thursday, October 12, from 5-7 p.m. at the Kaunoa Senior Center. For assistance, place contact the Lanai DOFAW office at (808) 565-7916.
