About

Lānaʻi Today, published since 2008, is the newspaper of record on the lovely island of Lānaʻi. The print newspaper is a free bimonthly publication that covers both historical and current events, community activities, as well as Maui county news that impact Lanaians, and highlights stories of island residents.

Alberta de Jetley, who started Lānaʻi Today, producing its inaugural edition in December 2008, also started Lānaʻi Times in 1990. The similarity of names accounts for persistent confusion among residents who often refer to Lānaʻi Today as the Lānaʻi Times, but neither paper is affiliated with the other. The Lānaʻi Times is now defunct.

Lānaʻi Today is mailed to post office box holders on Lānaʻi, subscribers, county of Maui agencies, and delivered to health facilities, educational centers, and small business and retail outlets on Lānaʻi.
